My first garden post! I have to say, I have been delaying this post for sometime now for two reasons. One, is out of sheer laziness and the other, is the fear and anxiety of being forever immortalized on the internet! As the gardening days pass by, I felt it would be a great disservice to myself to not document the transformation of our yard and so I sat down to write this. Just like the inside of our house, the landscaping outside holds all sorts of neat treasures but there is a heck of a lot of work to be done. Jess has started weeding and pruning back many of the plants that have been slowly taking over the lot. Above are a few photos of what she’s been working on including a Dogwood tree we recently planted, very old azalea and lilac, and the view from our porch now with the the rhododendrons pruned down.
