The photo above is a before an after taken from pretty much the same angle in the bathroom. With the concrete floors now installed there is no evidence of where the old toilet, sink, and tub used to sit. The bathtub alcove that Dad and I built definitely makes the room feel bigger, and the new arrangement of the toilet and vanity should also help with that too. You can see that because the tub is just a bit shorter than the width of the room we were able to built a chase for running plumbing up to the attic. The clean-out is accessible just to the right of the tub. Our old cast iron 4″ vent stack is now replaced with modern 3″ PVC.
It’s nice to see this thing is finally starting to take shape!
